2008 Election Voices

This program was produced with Randi Zimmerman and Ursula Ruedenberg.

Voices gathered before and after the Election of Obama talk about the hopes, expectations and jubilation of this historic vote. Stories of going to the poles to honor the sacrifices their ancestors had made for the privilege. The innocence of children's expressions at the prospect of someone different in the White House. For others fresh tears and shouts for the moment they dare not imagine. From Germany to Brooklyn, down to Philadelphia and Mississippi and west to Utah; this spellbinding election touched us even as we were pulling the lever. Enjoy the memories.
